Manny is an incredibly sweet big boy with big deep soulful eyes ! Manny is incredibly deserving of a loving forever home , he’s been waiting over a year and been bounced around 4 times since we rescued him! (To no fault of his own , and we felt so bad every time he had to move!) He adores people and other cats that will play with him , and loves to hang out on the couch and watch tv! He will put his head in your hand so you can give him lots of love , and gladly show you his cute belly to show how much he trusts you! He’s a well mannered boy who is just waiting for someone to see how worth it he is ! He loves to play with toys (he'll run after fake mice, cuddle/eat his catnip banana toy, and loves wand toys), enjoys perching by the window and watching the excitement outside, naps on 'his' chair, and in his first foster home he would try his best to play with foster parents resident gerbils from outside their cage!
Manny’s life wasn’t always this great, he was part of a rescue in the basement of a dirty apartment building basement in Washington Heights NYC . We rescued a total of 5 friendly cats from that basement after a concerned tenant alerted us . Manny had been abandoned and neglected, but he shows no grudges.
