Matteus is a very sweet, affectionate, and cuddly young boy! He sleeps on foster's bed at night and gets along with the resident cats. He goes crazy for catnip, and he stands on his hind legs when he's excited at meal time! Fun fact: he 1 pink toe bean, the other toe pads are black!

Matteus didn’t always have such a wonderful life. In fact, he was rescued from the Bronx when he was found injured with a big open wound on his neck by a kind woman that had been feeding him. Our volunteers went out and rescued him, and brought him to the veterinarian where they suspected he was either hurt by a person or hit by a car. Thankfully, Matteus healed BEAUTIFULLY and perfectly ! After he was feeling better, his true, beautiful, sweet-natured colors came out, proving he was meant to be an indoor cat loved forever in a happy home!
Matteus is a true gem of a cat and so very deserving of a loving home after the trauma he endured scared on the busy streets.
He is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, Negative for FIV and FELV, and microchipped.
