Are you looking for a cat that is happy , and confident all the time? Will greet everyone she meets with a hello meow and ask for pets and playtime? A cat that will stick  to you , talk to you, love your other cats and dog(s)? Groom  them but also run and happily wrestle with them ?  Sweetpea lives up to her name as a joyful , happy , playful girl just looking for the next toy to bat around or the next kitty to kiss , clean and play with ! Sweetpea is a chatter who loves to have conversations with humans and let you know how her day is going if you’ll listen! She’s a real spunky charming little lady who will bring joy to anyone looking for a cat that is , affectionate, playful , loves other cats (and even dogs!) . She’s been in a foster home with both cats and dogs , and is particularly fond of her foster sister kitten Nala whom she loves to groom and play with! They would be overjoyed to be adopted together , but we will also consider adopting them separately to homes with a cat looking for a friend!

Sweet pea didn’t always have a happy life . She was rescued from a noisy neighborhood in the Bronx , with speeding cars, where cats don’t always have a happy ending . We saw this sweet girl needed help and so we scooped her up to safety , and provided her with necessary medical care.
She is now spayed , up to date to vaccines , microchipped, snap negative for FIV and FELV , and fully dewormed . She has a cute little “snort” from her past life that just reminds you how lucky she is to be off that scary street and loved indoors forever . She always had a runny nose and we couldn’t figure out why antibiotics weren’t helping! We had the incredible vet specialists at Guardian Vet in Brewster New York scope her nose and discover she had NO opening in her nasal cavaties , hence the constant runny nose! They determined she needed surgery to open the holes and place stents to train the new holes to stay open! Her loving foster brought her to and from the vet and cared for her while she recovered . The stents came out and she had no more runny nose! It was incredible!! She’s always been a happy girl through it all, and we are just so happy she’s alive and can live her best life now!
